As the winter chill sets in and the fields rest under a quiet blanket of frost, we're already buzzing with anticipation for the 2026 growing season here at Everbloom Farm! This time of year, is all about reflection, planning, and dreaming big about the explosions of color that will fill our rows come summer. We've spent the fall carefully digging, dividing, and storing our tubers, ensuring they're tucked away safely to emerge strong and vibrant next spring.

Winter preparation is key to a successful dahlia season. After the first killing frost blackens the foliage, we lift the clumps, gently clean off the soil, divide them (making sure each tuber has at least one eye), and store them in climate-controlled storage, ensuring they are in an optimal environment for hibernation and to prevent rot.
Now, with catalogs in hand and spreadsheets open, we're curating our 2026 Season Varieties, A carefully selected mix of tried-and-true favorites and exciting new introductions!
Some highlights we're thrilled to grow more of (and offer tubers from) include classics like the stunning Café au Lait, the vibrant orange Labyrinth, and reliable producers like Cornell Bronze. We're also trialing some fresh varieties that have been generating buzz in the dahlia world, inspired by the latest innovations from breeders pushing boundaries in form and color.
Stay tuned! Our full 2026 Season Varieties page will be updated soon! If you're as obsessed with dahlias as we are, sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know when pre-orders open. Here's to a season filled with beauty, abundance, and the pure joy of growing these incredible flowers!
